Did your parents actually lie to you about not being able to visit Disneyland, or did you assume that?😅

PS1: Dessertcurious is definitely the word of the day.

PS2: Thanks for the mention!

I have to admit, the topic of Disneyland hasn't come up in the last two decades and my parents haven't been in the same room together for even longer so I can't confirm with certainty... I suspect one of them said something along the lines of "we can't go to Disneyland, it's in Paris" and the rest is history ;)

Yeah ok makes sense. I am always fascinated by the moments the brain seems to remember and the connections we make. I have memories of the most indifferent things happening, just because at that time they seemed important.

Shall we expect an article on your core memories (but apparently insignificant) connected to travelling? ;)

Hm, it is not part of the short-term plan. However, if this is a request, I will seriously consider!

There are so many amazing things in this post:

1. "I felt like a pistachio wearing a Maleficent headband." Iconic.

2. Counting in exact change is the bane of my existence thanks to taxes and a stress-induced inability to do math in public

3. I currently have a cold that I most definitely brought home with me from Vegas a few days ago

4. Team Jess always

Math in public is horrible. Just that holiday got me stressed out, I can't imagine doing that everyday x.x Good luck with your Vegas cold. What happens in Vegas you will most definitely bring home.

OMG love this! Your photos are too cute. I love Disney! I've only ever been to the Orlando one, though. I clearly went too long ago because there was no app back in my day to find the princesses.

I don't know what Disney has done to our generation but the Millennial equivalent of "ok boomer" should be "DisNerd"

It is embarrassing how obsessed with watching Disney films I was as a child. 🙈
